The Van Gogh Experience:
Few know that Vincent van Gogh started his career as an artist in The Hague. He made much of his first work in The Hague, where he spent 6 years of his 37-year life. He received his first paid assignment and wrote his first letters here. Nowhere in his adult life did he stay longer than in The Hague which had a big influence on his future work.
