The National Archives exist for more than 200 years. With over 142 kilometers of paper archives, 300.000 maps and drawings, more than 15 million photographs and 1.2 gigabytes of digital files, the National Archives make history accessible for all. You can view, research or examine these sources as many times as you like. Thus we provide a better insight in our past and contribute to a better understanding of our present and future society.
