Artists’ Cocktail Battle!

West is once again inviting two artists to explore the boundaries of art by serving it as a drink! Inspired by the work of Ryan Gander, the artists navigate both the narrative and social aspects of cocktail making. West asks visitors to reflect and share their opinions, so together we can crown the tastiest (or most artistic?) cocktail as our winner!

The cocktail battle intrigues me because it combines art with tasting and judging together. It's about stories, about the layering of flavours and ideas, just like in a good dish or work of art. And it's the competition that makes it interesting: pressure often gives rise to the most unexpected and innovative creations. It encourages people to discover something new in themselves and to go beyond what is obvious.
