There will be various pop-up performances to discover during Museumnacht
The Italian saxophonist Carlo Rossi presents short, intimate solo performances during Museumnacht, featuring music by J.S. Bach (Partita in A minor, BWV 1013 – on soprano saxophone), Benjamin Britten (Six Metamorphoses after Ovid, Op. 49 – in a saxophone adaptation), and Philip Glass (Melodies for Saxophone, a selection of three melodies).
Expect clear lines, a warm tone, and great expressive depth — an intimate musical interlude between the various Museumnacht locations. Rossi is active in the Netherlands as a classical and jazz saxophonist, composer, and music educator, sharing his love for solo repertoire with audiences through compact sets spread throughout the evening.
