The exhibition ONS LAND – Decolonization, generations, stories is about our Dutch colonial history and the effects of the ongoing decolonization process in our society. The complex and often painful history is presented through eight intergenerational family stories.
The testimonies of eight families are central. Unique stories are supplemented in this exhibitions with previously unseen objects, photos and intimate interviews with the eyewitnesses and their descendants at home.
