Visual artist Olof Marsja creates sculptures and installations drawing inspiration from his Sámi background. He brings together Duodji (Sámi craft), fantasy, assemblage and indigenous knowledge, and from there explores themes of identity, cultural heritage and existing somewhere in between.
During Museumnacht, you will step into Marsja’s world. Be inspired by his work and make your own talisman, a keychain or small piece of jewellery that expresses something about who you are and what you carry with you. Especially for this occasion, cocktail shaker Joost Nieuwenburg will mix a unique cocktail for you based on your talisman.
Don’t feel like getting your hands dirty? Get a drink at the bar and wander among the hybrid creatures through the exhibition or have a chat in the garden.
