In a museum, art can be more rewarding when you have some knowledge of art history, but that is not something everyone has. When considering buying art, it can be helpful to look at it from a different perspective. At ArtiBrak, we regularly receive requests to jury artworks or assess new, active members who wish to join our artists’ association. In this workshop, we share the method we use for these assessments.
You will develop skills to appreciate art without necessarily having to find a work ‘beautiful’. You will learn how to analyse art, understand its context and make conscious choices — skills that will serve you throughout your life and deepen the way you look at and experience art.
The workshop takes place in an informal atmosphere, accompanied by drinks.
