Title of the piece: Phaedrus
Name of the composer: Lina Zachari
Name of the performer: Tjaša Pauko, flute
Inspired by Plato’s Phaedrus — the dialogue on love, the soul, and the ascent toward the divine — this suite unfolds as a series of reflections on the myth of Eros and Psyche.
Each movement explores a different facet of desire and transcendence: longing, reflection, opposition, friendship, and eternity.
The work consists of seven movements: Over beyond, Himerus, Ft-Eros, As a mirror, Ant-Eros, Philia, Eternity.
Through the breath and resonance of the flute, Phaedrus transforms the philosophical flight of the soul into a vivid sonic experience.
