The Remnants of Tomorrow (Anouschka Vreeswijk) explores the hidden communication networks of forests through fungi and scents. The project uses distillation and extraction to collect volatile organic compounds and examines the biodiversity of Park Sorghvliet. An interactive installation with glass ornaments disperses scents, emphasizing the natural interactions of forests and calling for reconnection and sustainability. Vreeswijk aims for better harmony between humans, nature, and the climate.
House of Making Origami (Akash Kumar) celebrates the process of creation over the final product. Participants make two origami pieces and exchange one with another, creating a shared experience. Kumar focuses on sustainability, hands-on learning, and reconnecting with nature by fostering self-reliance and community through creative workshops.
